Our Lord compares the kingdom to a seed a man took and threw into his garden. He does not say that the man watched it, or measured it, or told anyone about it.

This parish has a habit of counting what is large and forgetting what began small. The jumuiya that now fills a house began with four people and one bench. Whatever is small here this year is not unimportant for being small; it is only early.
