Harambee for the new roof

The parish council met on Sunday after the 11.30am Mass and set the roof harambee for Sunday the twentieth of September, beginning after the second Mass and continuing until the afternoon.

The roof over the sanctuary has leaked since the long rains, and the iron sheets above the sacristy are past repair. Three quotations were read to the council; the work is expected to take four weeks once it begins.

Pledges may be made to any council member, at the office during working hours, or by M-Pesa to the parish paybill. Every pledge is receipted, and the total raised will be read at Mass each Sunday until the work is done.
